Lindsay Malaika was raised in Swaziland and Kenya, Africa.  Her Swahili name, Malaika means angel. Inspired by the luxuriant hues and patterns of Africa, and her own Native American heritage, this journeyed designer blends cultures and nature in her artwear bags.
  
   

This season's line was inspired by the 60's. My mom, who has always been an inspiration to me with her grace, beauty, and strength, was my father's muse during that period.

He was a photographer and I have always enjoyed the artistic photos he took of my mom during that era.

This line of handbags is a tribute to her and all the beautiful women who enjoy their femininity while being strong and confident in who they are.
